BEREAVEMENT  SUPPORT

Many people do not know what to expect when someone they love dies. They ask questions, like:

Horizon  Hospice has sponsored free community-based bereavement support groups in San Diego County for more than 25 years.

Grief is a normal and universal response to the loss of a loved one. It is also an utterly unique experience for each individual. The passage of time alone is often not enough to journey through grief.

When you take part in a professionally facilitated bereavement group, you join with others who are experiencing similar losses to move forward through grief by sharing emotional, physical, and spiritual responses with others.

The Ramona group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Ramona Adult Day Health Care Center, 2138 San Vicente Road in Ramona. These sessions are hosted by The Last Resort.

Discussions are led by professional staff from a co-sponsor, Breakthrough Grief Recovery, which offers bereavement and grief support services for groups and individuals.

Death leaves a heartache no one

Love leaves a memory
